Connect- Connect personally with what you're reading. Think of similarities between the descriptions in the selection and what you have personally experienced, heard, or read.
Predict- Try to figure out what will happen next and how the selection might end. Then read on to see if you made good guesses.
Clarify- Stop occasionally to review what you understand so far, and expect to have your understanding change and develop as you read on.
Evaluate- Form opinions about what you read, both while you're reading and after you've finished. Make judgments about the characters and develop your own ideas about events.
Visualize- Make a picture in your mind of what the text says. Imagine you are looking at what is describe.

Phaedrus is a gladiater and enters a contest against a people and animals. This fight was very deadly. Pheadrus had to fight against six wolves. Now he is in a Gladiater school.

Phaedrus was at the market with sinnoch. They were letting their horses get some water. Sinnoch left to do something and a man came up to Phaedrus and said that, that horse had some breeding to her. Phaedrus wondered if Sinnoch would breed her and he said he would let the man know.

My main character in "The Mark of The Horse Lord",is a gladiater named Phaedrus. Phaedrus lives in Britain in the second century in A.D 258. Phaedrus is strong,a great gladiater whonever stops fighting for what he wants. He is also very brave,for example he faght six wolves. He is very loyal too his kingdom.if i was a king and i had too pick my second i would pick Phaedrus.
