Xing Xing has gone to town with a bag of dates, in hopes of finding a docter to cure Wei Ping's wounds.

I really enjoy reading this book, because it shows you how hard life was back then, and teaches you to be gratful.

Xing Xing has traveled far from her home to find a docter for Wei Ping, and after two days of travel, she has finally found one.

The docter's name is Yao Wang. When Xing Xing asked Yao Wang if he could help her sister,Yoa Whang tells her that he can't, because there are people who need him here. He does however, give her a balm that is supose to build scar tissue on Wei Ping's feet.

I think that Xing Xing will be able to heal Wei Ping's feet, because she is strong willed, and is kind to others.

Book Review:

boys and young men went to school and learned to read, write, and learn about history.

When the character,Xing Xing (shing shing) was young, both of her parents had died, and ever since then she has lived with her stepmother and stepsister in the streets of ancinet China.Day after day Xing Xing would do work, while her sister took it easy, waiting for her mother to find her a hus band.Xing Xing, being nothing but a slave girl to her step mother, never has time to find a husband for herself.

One day, while getting water, Xing Xing finds a beutiful fish, and inspired by it's beuty, dreams of being free.

I think this book is a great choice for readers, beacuse it is a blend of Cinderella and Mulan, making it a good choice of veriety, and adventure.
